Sunflower

Sunflowers represent energy, vitality, life force, strength, divine order and movement. They cause us to reflect on the life giving power of the sun, which brings energy and life to all living things. Sunflowers move with sun, greeting it at daybreak in the east and following its gaze to the west, then returning east again in the evening. They represent the beautiful celestial order of the universe, with the seeds forming the fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio. Sunflower seeds can be eaten to bring energy and quick stimulation. They evoke feelings of happiness, warmth, nourishment, and bounty and are especially beneficial to those who are sick. Sunflowers remind us that it is important to spend time in the sunlight everyday for vitality, nourishment, energy and happiness. And that we, along with every other living thing on the planet rely on its energy to provide us life.
